Whitstable cottage in Conservation area near shops,  beach etc

Holiday cottages within the Whitstable seaside and harbour conservation area, situated off Harbour St., are within a few minutes stroll from shops, restaurants, cafes, beach and harbour. Parking is free on the road outside the cottage, of course being near the beach, sea and restaurants puts pressure on spaces. 

Seaside style interior and cottage style bedrooms and table and chairs for dining outside getting the sun for the day. Available for holiday rentals at the weekend, week-long  or longer stays of a few months at a discount.

For 2-4 people choose the 2 bed option with a double bedroom and twin bedroom. A steep staircase to this floor may be difficult for those for mobility issues. 

For 5-6 people ask about 3 bedroom option (2 extra single beds). A large loft area on the second floor approached by a very narrow staircase. Available at small extra cost per night, please ask on enquiry.

Kitchens include gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. TV which receives many Freeview channels (not all channels due to the coastal location). Wifi is included free of charge for surfing, viewing, emailing etc. Sitting areas for dining and relaxing.

Parking is free on the roads in the area but due to being near the beach, sea and restaurants spaces are tight at the weekends when visitors come for the day as well as holidays.

Eating in and Out around Whitstable

Whitstable is well-known for its superb local seafood with a charming working harbour the home of daily catches. The area has numerous restaurants, cafes and bars specialising in seafood and the famous oysters. Whitstable restaurants include:

Lovely general shops are dotted around Harbour St. and of course Canterbury and other lovely Kentish places are within a short drive. There is a thriving art scene and some great events throughout the year.
